Lenovo Zuk Z2 - the cheapest flagship on the market

Lenovo Zuk Z2 is the first smartphone from the second generation of the Z series. This series of smartphones are famous for the good technical specifications and low prices. The new model keeps the tradition and comes with a powerfull Snapdragon 820 chipset, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM, all of them comes at the price of just 270 euros ($302).

Seems that Lenovo Zuk Z2 is a direct rival of Xiaomi Mi 5, a smartphone that also comes with good performance and a low price. The phone comes with a great screen, plenty of power and lots of storage for the price. Unfortunately, this model doesn’t come with a custom firmware, LTE and NFC support.

The phone features a 5 inch IPS screen at 1920 x 1080 pixels (441 PPI), an 2.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 MSM8996 processor with Adreno 530 graphics adapter, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of ROM, 13 MP main camera, 8 MP selfie camera, 3500 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0.1.

The phone comes from the start with a high-quality appearance, the front and rear is protected with 2.5D glass and it feels great in the hand. The edge of the device is made from a metal covered in a matte material that gives a plastic feel.

With an Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4 GB of RAM, Zuk Z2 reaches the same perfomance level as Samsung Galaxy S7, Xiaomi Mi 5 and LG V20. The phone scored 1,727 points in Geekbench 4 (single-core) and 3,840 points in Geekbench 4 (multi-core) tests.
